Psalm 24:1 teaches that “The earth is the Lord’s, and all that is in it.” That means everything we have actually belongs to God. 1 Peter 4:10 teaches that “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” These words are being practiced throughout Shepherd of the Hills as demonstrated by all the small group outreach programs that are ongoing in our congregation. They are also the cornerstone of our efforts as a Stewardship team.
The focus of the Stewardship Committee is to be more intentional with the messaging about the importance of giving. Our God-inspired support is allowing us to further God’s ministries within our church and out into our church community both here and abroad.
