Welcome to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church! We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ. Visiting somewhere new can be intimidating. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable and welcome when you walk into our doors. Just look for the smiling faces waiting to greet you and we will show you everything. Stick around after worship and enjoy some coffee!

What to Expect

We have two services every Sunday, at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. The 8:30 service is more traditional with choir and traditional hymns while the 10:30 service features worship led by our praise band. Both services last about an hour and have communion.

We have a group of wonderful musicians at both services and we really strive to glorify God and draw close to him through song.

In our preaching, we work to bring God’s word to life and see who he is calling us to be in this changing world.

Kids are always welcome to our worship services. We also offer a nursery and Children’s Church.

Nursery
If your little one needs a break during worship, the nursery is available for ages birth to three years old. Our trained nursery staff will answer your questions and provide a warm and safe place for your child during worship

Children’s Church
Before the sermon, parents have the option to release their kids ages four to eight years old to Children’s Church where kids have the opportunity to learn about Jesus using age-appropriate content. Kids return to the Sanctuary at the end of the sermon.

Sunday School
Our church offers a Sunday school program from September through May for preschool to 5th grade. If you would like to know more about our program, connect with Amy, our Children’s & Youth Ministry Director, in our church office (262)628-2633.
